Industrial Revolution

In this presentation we are going to answer the inquiry question: How did the Industrial Revolution change Britain? We will be talking about the changes of education, Transport, Agriculture and Health and Medicine, that happened during the Industrial Revolution. We will also be talking about the impact that these changes had on the people. 

 

What is a Revolution?

A Revolution is a period of time, where many changes were made to improve the life of the people. This usually happens in small steps that re carefully laid out and understood. At some points the changes happen quickly after another and sometimes the changes take a while to develop. In the end of a Revolution the old ways and ideas are abandoned and get replaced by new ones. A revolution is very important in order to change and improve the ways of life and understand things better.

 

What is the Industrial Revolution?

The Industrial Revolution is a Revolution that took place in Europe from about 1750 to 1914. In this Revolution the main changes that happened were in manufacturing, transport, agriculture, health and medicine, trade, living conditions, education and technology. It is called ‘Industrial’, because the main changes that occurred were in working conditions, working machines and the Industries.
